Instrumental Music Program

The Instrumental Music Program was introduced in 1995. Currently, we have over 90 students learning to play a variety of instruments. Students are withdrawn from classes on a weekly basis to learn in small groups. Their skills are consolidated by participating in the College Band. The band  meets for 90 minute sessions each week and other impromptu sessions.  The band will be playing at a number of functions and venues throughout the year.

This program is beneficial in that it gives students a chance to experience achievement and team work.  It is a wonderful self-esteem building exercise and the students have a very enjoyable time.
